Pakistan vs New Zealand

Following the semi-final loss to New Zealand in the Champions Trophy, the Pakistan team has gone through a controversial period. Captain Younus Khan had tendered his resignation after an allegation of match-fixing was levied upon him. The board later convinced him to take over the reins again. That was followed by reports of disharmony in the team which was later dismissed by Afridi and Younus Khan. The Pakistan team, unpredictable as ever, would look to put these aside and let their cricket do all the talking. They have a balanced bowling attack with the likes of Umar Gul, Mohammed Aamer and Saeed Ajmal along with quality all-rounders like Shahid Afridi and Abdul Razzaq, who returns to the side after being dropped for the CT. The batting department has a blend of youth and experience which is an ideal combination for any side. Pakistan would look to extract revenge after suffering a CT ouster at the hands of New Zealand.
