Saeed Ajmal and Abdul Rehman have moved up in the world bowling rankings because of their stunning bowling against the number 1 ranked team England.

Both Ajmal and Rehman crushed the England batting line up sharing 9 wickets between them and reducing England to 72 for all out in their second innings of second Test.

This was England’s lowest total in any Test series against Pakistan.

Pakistan now have a 2-0 lead in the 3 test series.

Ajmal took 3 for 22 runs while Rehman got his career’s best figures at 6 for 25 runs.

Ajmal has moved up one place in the ICC bowlers’ rankings and is now number two, while Rehman moved up five places and is now at number nine.

It is also a record that after 23 years two Pakistani bowlers are present in the top ten of the ICC bowlers’ rankings.

Dale Steyn of South Africa owns the number 1 spot and is 84 points ahead of Ajmal.
