Though Australia lost three second-innings wickets on day three in Adelaide, they are still firmly in the driver's seat with a 382-run lead.

Australia had bowled India out for 272 when Michael Clarks decision against enforcing the follow-on, set three of his men depart before the close of play.

Wriddhiman Saha was the only player providing support to Virat Kohli as the Indian player struggled to notch up his first Test ton.

Overnight batsmen Sachin Tendulkar and Gautam Gambhir's partnership began promisingly. However, at the end of the day, Peter Siddle proved too good for the duo.
