Australia to go 1-0 up in their two game t20 series, after the comprehensive 31 run victory in the first ever t20 international.
A huge crowd was gathered to witness the Australia's seamers tearing apart the Indian top batting line after giving them a target of 172 in 20 overs.
MS Dhoni showed some resistant’s but his knock wasn’t enough to aid India in achieving a victory on a tour which gets bad to worse for the Indians.
Wade helped set up Australia’s victory by smashing five boundaries and three sixes in just his third t20 International. He managed to remain as the Aussies top scorer with 72 runs.
He was bowled by Suresh Raina in the 16th over.
David Warner was responsible for getting the innings off to the perfect start as he made a quick 25 (two massive sixes!) before a rain shower halted play half way through the innings.
