History has been created by the Englishman Luke Wright by making 117 runs out of 60 deliveries which can be considered as the fastest KFC Big Bash t20 century ever. This power packed performance consists of eight boundaries and nine sixes against the bowlers of Hobart Hurricanes.
His team Melbourne Stars got victory over Hobart Hurricanes by his overwhelming performance which actually made the required 19 runs for its victory. The people of Hobart watched this disastrous loss of their team at the Bellerive Oval.
He made a partnership of 172 runs with Rob Quiney (62) from 16.4 overs. He hit a massive six over long off against the bowler Xavier Doherty and made his century out of 44 deliveries only.
