England was at 48-1 before lunch on second day of the second Test against Pakistan.

Pakistan were forced to wrap up their innings at just 257 when the pair of seamers; Stuart Broad and James Anderson, took final three wickets with just 16 balls.

In their quest, England lost Andrew Strauss for 11, later Alastair Cook and Jonathan Trott played for 23 not out and 5 not out respectively, at a total score of 48-1.

Pakistani spinners Hafeez and Ajmal quickly came in, however in that allocation of five overs by fast bowlers, Cook had played boldly, pulling both Umar Gul and Junaid Khan with authority.
