Foot injury rules Lee out of series

Brett Lee, the quick pace Australian bowler is suffering from a severe injury after he retired from the match of commonwealth break series due to his fractured foot.
The health expert of Australian team has advised to take rest for four to six weeks and he may not available for next series.
The team council has not yet announced the replacement against this veteran player for their next match. The match will be played on Sunday against India in the ongoing opening CB series whose venue is at Melbourne cricket ground.
He got hit by a ball in this right foot and immediately got fractured on Friday night in their second T20 international match played in Melbourne. They were playing against India and Australia got defeated by 8 wickets.
"Brett Lee sustained a fracture of his right foot when he was struck by a ball in the last over of his spell during the KFC T20 against India at the MCG on Friday night," Cricket Australia team doctor Trefor James said in a statement.
"He was able to complete the over, however the foot became more painful and swollen the following day."
