Gambhir, Bowlers make it a win finally

A half century by Gautam Gambhir goaded India to an eight wicket victory over the mighty Aussies. This victory ended India’s run of five consecutive defeats and helped them to draw level with the Aussies in a two match T20 series.
After a sensational performance by the Indian bowlers it was time for the batsmen to take the guards. Gautam Gambhir’s excellent knock stunned 62k spectators at the MCG.
His performance was well appreciated by the Indian captain MS Dhoni who had scored 21 runs and had a good partnership going with him.
Gambhir’s half century was well supported by a decent knock by Virat Kohli who made 31 runs.
