ICC Champions Trophy at Gaddafi Stadium

The batting consultant of Pakistan Mr Javed Miandad is very passionate about victories and team's performance in the upcoming hot shot event - The ICC Champions Trophy. He is experimenting new innovative ways to upsurge the team's performance. He has ordered plantaion of new grassy pitch in Gaddafi Stadium on immediate basis.

He says it will increase team performance and by the development of new grassy pitch, the team will have necessay practice for CT. The technical specifications include a three foot wide pitch. The result will be overall efficiency increment of the pitch. The initiative is taken to simulate the original South African pitches in Pakistan.The Miandad share his words "The idea is to get the batsmen to play on surfaces similar to those in South Africa. Cricket is all in the mind and if a player is mentally focused, he can succeed anywhere".

The PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board) has also given Miandad the designation of Director of Cricket Affairs. So, Miandad is a big gun in Pakistan's current cricket scenario. He says he has no intention to intervene in the matters of coach or the captain. It is expected that Pakistani cricketers will prove their metal in ICC's CT starting from next month.
