Kiwis can be hunted: Butcher

According to the head coach Alan Butcher, Zimbabwe has the courage and confidence to beat New Zealand in the one-off Test in Napier starting from January 26.

Butcher said the team has had a significant mental growth since their return to Test cricket in August last  year and are ready to challenge New Zealand.

The six years of self-imposed exile was the worst period Zimbabwe had to endure in their cricketing history.

New Zealand defeated them by a margin of only 34 runs. They would have achieved a record, if they had managed to score those runs.

"People didn't give us much of a chance so I was proud that we got that close," Butcher said, "But I was also disappointed. We deserved to win it and to get that close and lose was disappointing."
