The Kings XI Punjab cruised to a comprehensive 7 wicket victory over the Delhi DareDevils. It was totally a dominating game by Punjab as they complete an dubious win after dismissing the Daredevils for just 111 runs.
The DareDevils batting line up crumbled under pressure as the Punjab's spinners tore through a shell shocked Daredevils line up reducing them to their lowest total in this years' IPL.
With such a small run chase the Kings XI got off to slow start, openers Mahela Jayawardene and Irfan Pathan took their time to build an opening partnership of 41 before Pathan was dismissed by Amit Mishra.
Jayawardene was dismissed by Collingwood for 38 runs. Kumar Sangakara and Yuvraj Singh built another good partnership of 45 runs to guide the Kings XI to a devastating victory.
Piyush Chawla was the Man of the Match for his match winning spell of 2 wickets for 16 runs. The 'Kamaal catch of the match' award goes to Reetinder Singh Sodhi. Yuvraj Singh gets the 'Maximum sixes' award.
