Middlesex Panthers approach Yuvraj Singh

The Middlesex Panthers have confirmed that they have approached Yuvraj Singh to join the Lords based team as their second overseas player for this summers Friends Provident T20.

The Panthers have already been turned down this winter by Sachin Tendulkar who decided to concentrate on playing international cricket for India. Panthers have already confirmed Adam Gilchrist and are searching for another bombastic batsman who can set a pair with Gilchrist.

Yuvraj Singh is one of the superstars of Indian cricket and is best known for hitting Stuart Broad for six sixes in an over during the Twenty20 World Cup in South Africa in 2007. He has also picked up 2 hat tricks for the Kings XI Punjab in the IPL.
