Sachin Tendulkar was out for 13 in the second innings of the final Test match against Australia at Adelaide on Friday to again miss out on his 100th international ton.

Tendulkar was caught close to the wicket off spinner Nathan Lyon and will now have to wait until the one-day series in Australia for his next opportunity to achieve the elusive goal.

He has been stranded on 99 Test and ODI centuries since scoring 111 against South Africa in the World Cup in March last year. he scored his last Test century against South Africa in Cape Town over a year ago where he scored 146 runs.
