Sri Lanka beat India by 4 wickets in the final of the Tri-nation series in Dhaka. Sangakara and Jayewerdene played exciting innings to reach their half centuries.
Jayewardene top-scored with an unbeaten 71 and skipper Sangakara made a quick 55 as Sri Lanka passed India's 245 with nine balls to spare in the day-night match. Both the players also upstaged India's Suresh Raina, who cracked a intrepid 106 under pressure to prop up the innings.
Earlier, Sri Lanka won the toss and put India to bat. India were all out for 245 in 49th over. Nuwan Kulasekara and Chanaka Welegedara claimed 4 and 3 wickets respectively.
Sri Lankan skipper Kumar Sangakara was declared Man of the Series. However, Nuwan Kulasekara was announced Man of the Match for his brilliant bowling efforts that shattered the Indian batting line.
