Mushfiqur Rahim, the man in charge of Bangladesh cricket team, won the toss and elected to bat first against Pakistan in their first limited-overs international of a three-match series at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium.
The good news for the hosts is that opener Tamim Iqbal is back in the side, who missed Tuesday's 50-run win in the lone Twenty20 match because of injuries, while Shahriar Nafees will be Iqbal's opening partner in place of Imrul Kayes and Alok Kapali.
Two changes have been made in Pakistan playing eleven, replacing Asad Shafiq and Sohail Tanvir with Younis Khan and Sarfaraz Ahmed.
Teams:
Bangladesh: Tamim Iqbal, Shahriar Nafees, Naeem Islam, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim (captain), Mahmudullah, Nasir Hossain, Farhad Reza, Abdur Razzak, Rubel Hossain, Shafiul Islam.
Pakistan: Mohammad Hafeez, Imran Farhat, Younis Khan, Misbah-ul-Haq (captain), Shoaib Malik, Umar Akmal, Shahid Afridi, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Saeed Ajmal, Umar Gul, Aizaz Cheema
