Rain has washed out the third one-day international between Australia and the West Indies at the SCG.
The West Indies were no wicket for 6 from 5 balls, when heavy rain forced the players to leave the field for 2 hours. When play resumed the West Indies were chasing a revised target of 151 from 24 overs but only one ball was bowled before the rain returned.
Earlier today, some sturdy batting from Michael Clarke and Mike Hussey helped Australia scuff a humble total of 225 runs against West Indies. Michael Clarke remained the top scorer with 46 from 74 balls while Hussey hit 44 from 53 deliveries. The Aussies were bowled out at the SCG in 49.5 overs on a pitch offering some assistance to the fast bowlers. Ravi Rampaul picked up 4-61 from 9.5 overs and Dwayne Smith claimed 3-45 while Sammy claimed 2 wickets for 46 runs.
